What happens after the free trial?+
The trial runs the demo on synthetic data only, with no account and no card; your first run starts a 30-day clock. When you are ready to protect your real matrix, choose a plan above and it activates instantly; nothing you built during the trial is lost or needs to be rebuilt.
What do I keep if I stop paying?+
Your files. The matrix, scenarios, and telemetry live on your disk and stay yours — nothing is deleted and nothing is uploaded, ever. The service stops: after a 14-day grace window with warnings, verification commands lock until you renew, and reactivating picks up exactly where you left off. One thing no billing state changes: the wall never fails open — an expired copy refuses to run rather than waving a blocked pair through. For a control you show to clients and auditors, that honesty is the product.
My agent says the license lapsed. How do I renew?+
That once-a-day notice comes from your own local hook; the wall itself is still standing and still
blocking. If your trial ended, choose a plan above; the signed license arrives by email, and one
command from it (signato license activate --token …) reopens every verification
command. If you already subscribe and still see this, email
hello@signato.ai and we will reissue it, do not buy a second
plan. Either way nothing on your disk changed while the license was lapsed, so there is nothing to
rebuild.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes. Switching between monthly and annual billing takes effect on your next billing cycle. Institutional is scoped individually because it includes implementation work, so that one starts with a conversation rather than a self-serve toggle.
